What stays on your device

Your daily checklist, water tracking, morning and evening check-in ratings, reflections, Release & Replace notes, identity journaling and your photo or video of the day are stored locally in your browser or app storage. They are never uploaded unless you choose to create a cloud backup.

What we store when you sign in

  • Your email address and display name
  • An invite code used to connect with friends
  • Cloud backups of your entries, if you create one
  • A daily summary (day number, completion percentage, streak) shared only with friends you accept — each value can be hidden in Tribe privacy settings
  • Friend requests, accepted connections, blocks and nudges you send or receive
  • A push notification token and reminder time, if you enable reminders

How we use this data

Only to run the features you asked for: showing your tracker, restoring your backups, displaying accountability summaries to friends you approved, and sending the reminders and nudges you enabled. We do not profile you or use your data for advertising.

Device & technical data

Our hosting and backend providers process standard technical information needed to deliver the app — IP address, timestamps, and basic request and error logs. Push notification services (Apple APNs and Google FCM) process the device token needed to deliver a notification. We do not embed third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

Service providers

We rely on our application hosting platform and its managed database and authentication service for accounts, cloud backups and Tribe data; on Apple and Google for optional Sign in with Apple / Google and for push delivery. These providers act on our behalf. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

What we never share

Journal text, reflections, photos, videos and individual check-in ratings are never visible to other users.

Security

Data in transit is encrypted with HTTPS. Cloud rows are protected by row-level security rules so an account can only read and write its own data, plus the limited summary values friends are allowed to see. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password or a provider sign-in.

Retention & deletion

Cloud data is kept until you delete it. You can delete your account at any time from Habits → Delete account: this permanently removes your profile, cloud backups, friend connections, shared summaries, nudges and notification tokens, and the deletion is verified in the backend. Device-only entries are removed by clearing app storage or deleting the app. You can download a full JSON copy of your entries first from Habits → Privacy & data.

Your choices

Using the app signed out keeps everything local. You control which summary values friends see, can remove or block friends, can turn notifications off at any time, and can export or delete your data as described above.

Children

Thrive Tribe 365 is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, surface a notice in the app.
